My presentation
I presented my presentation for the inspector sands audio visual promo and received feed back about my presentation. The good points of m presentation were that the genre, style and target audience was covered clearly, The locations were clearly explained and justified, I had a clear tie to the visuals of the piece and how I would like it to be shot, the distribution was covered well, the pre and post production timescales were planned well and the legal aspect was covered mostly well. The points that I need to work on are, budget as the budget I had planned of was far to low for what I had planned and I had not take aspects into account, my production time was to short to make a full promo and I need to think of contingency plans for this time, I need to look more into gaining permissions for locations especially in locations like Vauxhall bridge if I intend of filming in front the MI6 building and I need to look into a greater variety of equipment so I am not limiting myself with what shots I can achieve. In conclusion I feel the presentation went well and I feel to improve I need to spend more time looking into what it would actually require to make the product I want instead of what I assume it requires.

MUSIC VIDEO/TRAILER SYNOPSIS
AND HOW IT RELATES TO THE BRIEF

hide from some of the world’s best hitmen, but it's only a matter of
time until the corrupt system that he spent years hiding from comes looking for

alive.
KEY MILESTONES
I aim to have the product finished in 12 months’ time in
that time I want to have all of the pre-production materials complete by the
end of august at the latest and have actors cast to play the parts to start
filming in September and have the final scene shot 2 days after we travel to location
(London) and then move in to post production where we will spend 1 month
editing and mastering the footage to have a promo ready for release by October.
EQUIPMENT
·
DSLR Camera- To film the footage
·
SD card- to store the footage on the camera
·
Tripod-to hold the camera steady
·
Camera steady- to move the camera freely without
it looking shakey
·
Microphone- to record sound
PROPS
For this production I will be requiring things commonly
associated with crime and violence to create the type of Mise en scene my
trailer requires to create meaning for the audience and to show the genre to
make my product I will require bank firing guns, blank bullets, magazines and handcuffs.
I have selected these items because it has clear connotations of what I am
trying to communicate to my audience and these items are very common in the
genre and allows me to use intertextuality.
MODELS
·
actors required to play Chris and also extras
i.e. emergency services and other agents.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
CONSIDERATIONS.
·
Extreme caution must be taken when using blank
of dummy weapons when pointing in jest so we are not to harm anyone or be

Strength
- genres offer comfortable reassurance
- Intertextuality from media products that went before i.e. James Bond, Mission Impossible etc.
- Offers emotional pleasure- happy, sad and visceral pleasures- excitement, fear, laughter
- films in this genre are quite common

Strength
- The geeky kid saving the day (underdog) is an enigma code which makes the audience think and entices them in.
Weakness
- The use of prop/blank firing weapons could present logistical problems.
- we would need to be careful on moral and ethical grounds as it is representing children in life or death situations.
